From the Rooftops
“Therefore, do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell
you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim from the rooftops.”
-Matthew 10:26-27
Not Just a Building,
We are a Community.
A Big Idea, A Bigger Future for Omaha’s College Ministry
-
We Dreamt It
Catholic Ministry at UNO has been happening for decades, but there was always a need for it to grow and facilities on campus and at St. Margaret Mary could not handle the need. For years, the Archdiocese of Omaha recognized the need for this type of facility and ministry.
-
We Built It
So, in 2016, the last parcel of land at Aksarben was purchased and initial fundraising began for the $25M project. It was decided to take on $14.6M in debt so the facility could open to serve Omaha college students, both for campus ministry as well at student housing.

Now We Need to Grow It
With five years of operational experience and a clearer financial picture of our future, we know we need to reduce debt service by $300K to $400K to free up money for new projects and campus ministry programs not just for today’s students, but for generations to come.
